Smith announced the news of Allen Iverson’s retirement after only three games this year, on his Website today. However, his intentions reveal Allen is still available and ready for a comeback.

Since he’s hardly 34-year-old and extremely fit physically, the news of Allen Ezail Iverson’s retirement seems to be an attempt on his part to see the fans’ response and reaction. Today on November 25, 2009 famous reporter Stephen A. Smith announced on behalf of the 1996 NBA Draft’s number one pick Allen Iverson, that he’s going to retire.

The American professional basketball player Allen is recognized as a free agent these days and the news of his applying for leave of absence really surprised Memphis Grizzlies whom he joined very recently. This season, Allen played as many as three games only and loosing an NBA player with such an impressive record no doubt, is a great loss to both Grizzlies and the NBA itself.
