Spokeswoman for All Children’s Hospital, Ann Miller informed the media on Saturday about hospital’s move to shift the patients into new home. It took us nearly six hours, informed Ann Miller, to completely shift them. The construction of the building started some four yeas back.

A Pediatric hospital of St. Petersburg known as ‘All Children’s Hospital’ is known by the whole community for its pediatric treatment, advocacy, research and education services. The hospital authorities were working on a project that reportedly cost them a huge amount of $800-million, to move the patients from the facility that’s over 42-year-old now, since long.

The so called new home building comprises of around one million square feet and it’s equipped with every facility that would be required to make it a complete pediatric healthcare unit under one roof. There’s a brand new department of outpatients there and all the patients from all over Florida and even from abroad would benefit from the same. The new facility has been finally opened on Saturday, officially.

As many as 169 patients have been shifted from the old building to this north side Bayfront home alongside the relevant hospital personnel, informed Miller. The marketing / community relations associate Vice President Cindy Rose mentioned that it was time to have a new building since the older one had outgrown. According to Miller, a power supply to meet any ‘unplanned’ and ‘unexpected’ emergency has also been provided at the new home.

Ann Miller further informed the media that it hasn’t been decided yet whether how the old building would be used after the remaining equipment is shifted from there. It would be either leased out or sold, added Miller.
