Caster Semenya’s run time in the women’s world 800 meters at the Berlin Track and Field World Championships on August 19 shocked the sports lover, being only 1 minute, 55.45 seconds. This is the proven fastest time for the current year. But what shocked both Caster and her fans, was the rumor that she in fact is a hermaphrodite. Again a female being blamed to have both male and female gentiles simultaneously.

The question before the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is not that whether they should award more gold to the 2009 successor, but asks Caster to prove her inner identity, a He or She! Same is the case with poor Caster the 18-year-old runner; how to prove that? Hopefully the only answer is that she might be undergoing tricky tests. Her own video and stills are going against her.

A better and better competitor after each performance, Caster Semenya is being watched from every single possible angle since the news hit the web. Everybody would be saying look at her man’s torso, her plain chest but manly arms, manly hair-style, muscular thighs and strong legs, etc. However, nothing can constitute a proof out of above so far. Plus doctors, endocrinologists, gynecologists and gender experts are already on their mission to determine the reality.

Therefore, let us wait to deliver our judgment on this hot issue until the results reveal the factual position. These tests are reported to take few weeks but the most painful thing for Caster would be a ‘disqualification’ and ‘deprival’ of her medal, whenever the results proved her ‘guilty.’
