You say Wow look at Caster Now! Caster Semenya Makeover seems good reply to critics. Caster Semenya with her Makeover is the new Cover Girl of ‘You’ the South African Magazine. The 18-year-old may now succeed to prove she is not ‘He.’
Caster Semanya has finally made an attempt to kill the frenzy and fury of media critics who raised fingers on Caster the moment she started to celebrate the biggest achievement of her life. Questions started swarming in through different ways and means asking what a ‘Man’ is doing in the Ladies line-up. Her pictures were the centre of attention during August at the Berlin Track and Field World Championships, where she turned into a World Champion. Photographers highlighted her ‘brawny’ built particularly her manly ‘Biceps’ and ‘Thigh’ muscles.
Mokgadi Caster Semenya who was born on 7 January 1991 in Ga-Masehlong, a village in South Africa near Polokwane, won the Gold Medal in 800 meters for a proven fastest track record for the year i.e. 1 minute, 55.45 seconds.
Although the jury is still busy in finding the ‘facts’ to prove the ‘femininity’ of the athlete, Caster has stunned the viewers and both political and media critics with her complete new perspective. Just look at her braided rows of curly and wavy hair, her black designer dress and the bunch of bangles. Isn’t she looking amazing with light makeup and light jewelry along with the red, polished nails!
Well I may be wrong but just take it that way; the ‘Cover Girl’ of a trendy S’ African magazine ‘YOU’ might still be feeling hurt deep inside. As a young girl, she used to play soccer with the village boys and every now and then, she has been hurt about her gender issue either by remarks or by gestures critical looks.
