Cecelia Cichan full name Cecelia Marie Cichan who was born April 10, 1983, has been notified as the only survivor of Northwest Airlines Flight 255. Update is that she was covered on TV today. She is now known as Cecelia Marie Cichan-Lumpkin.

Cecelia Cichan was only 4-year-old when the plane crashed during takeoff from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport on August 16, 1987. She lost her mother ‘Paula Cichan,’ father ‘Michael Cichan’ and 6-year-old brother ‘David Cichan.’ The plane crash was referred as complete destruction, and the medical examiner on scene were amazed on her survival.

Cecelia Cichan has also been notified living with her aunt ‘Rita’ and uncle ‘Frank Lumpkin’ in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her graduation from ‘University of Alabama’ in the year 2006, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
