Hearts of the family of Chelsea King sank to hear a body has been discovered and the Poway police believe; Chelsea King is dead. During a press conference Bill Gore the Poway Sheriff broke the news on Tuesday. ‘We strongly believe its Chelsea we have just found,” he said.

The story of a missing runner seems to have come to a tragic end on Tuesday with the discovery of a female body near Lake Hodges on an edge, dumped in a trivial and deep grave. The place is reportedly some 800 meters from where 17-year-old girl’s black BMW was found locked on Thursday since when; she was never seen alive.

Some media reports claim that just before the media conference announcement, a family message on Facebook page appeared reading “It is sad to know that a body has been found by the police and though they have not identified it as Chelsea officially, please pray for Chelsea and the family.”

However according to the details provided by the Sheriff Gore in the news conference the things are not very encouraging for the family since Gore said “Likelihood is pretty strong the body is of missing Chelsea.” He further detailed that a kind of shallow grave was located by one of the divers’ team at around 1 p.m. local time.
