Couple with 16 kids found dead is really a shocking news. Byrd and Melanie Billings were found shot dead last night around 8pm in their bedroom at Beulah, Florida home on Mobile Highway. Police are searching for the suspects, however the murders have been referred as a home invasion.

An Escambia County Police spokesman, ‘Sgt. Ted Roy’ has confirmed the report of their murder. According to him, one of them was shot in the head. Byrd and Melanie Billings have been identified as the victims by the director of District Medical Examiner’s Office, Jeff Martin. According to him, autopsies have not been finished yet.

According to reports only eight children were present at the home when the shooting occurred. None of the children have been reported to be harmed. 12 out of 16 Billings children have been reported to be adopted.

Reportedly, Police are looking for three white males and a red full size van.
