An eight-month pregnant woman, 23-year-old Darlene Haynes was killed brutally several days ago, while the body was found on Monday, July 27, 2009, according to the authorities. She was from Worcester, Massachusetts, and the mother of three children.

Police are searching for her fetus that was reportedly stolen from her womb. Police believe that the baby could have survived that would needed appropriate medical attention.

William Thompson, the landlord of Darlene Haynes found her body in the closet of her apartment wrapped in bedding. According to Edward J. McGinn Jr. who is a Detective Capt., “The autopsy indicated that Darlene Haynes died after suffering from severe head injuries.”

Police also interviewed the ex-boyfriend of Darlene Haynes and the father of her daughter, 24-year-old Roberto Rodriguez who was charged with grabbing the throat and slapping her in the year 2008. Roberto Rodriguez and William Thompson are the family suspects, and there are chances that one of them may have stolen the unborn daughter.

Darlene Haynes described Roberto Rodriguez as her longtime boyfriend in June. The landlord of Darlene Haynes said, he saw Roberto Rodriguez moving out of the apartment last month.

While interviewing with WCVB, Roberto Rodriguez said, “Darlene Haynes was a nice girl.” Roberto Rodriguez also said, “Darlene Haynes had the problems, but no one deserves like that happened with her.”
