“Come hang out at ‘Players’ for tonight’s Fedor versus Brett Rogers fight, tweeted Danny Castillo on the main page of Twitter feed, UFC.com. Although UFC was counter-programming Saturday night’s Strikeforce CBS broadcast but above were the remarks on its website, promoting the Fedor Emelianenko v/s Brett Rogers bout.

Before the classic fight between the two mixed martial arts fighters on Saturday November 7, 2009 there was an aggressive promotional programming noticed regarding the night’s show Strikeforce broadcast on CBS. Their Website, however, seemed to promote the show with a different title Fedor v/s Brett fight. The main page twitter remarks by Danny Castillo on Twitter feed called UFC.com were also a part of the Website promoting the show.

Danny wrote ‘hang out at ‘Players’ for the Fedor fight tonight’ to motivate fans to attend the live event by depicting what charged up atmosphere it would be tonight. All UFC people are trying is to make the Strikeforce show a success, following live MMA broadcast on CBS. Free fight debuts such as like Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin on Spike’s Main Event may affect Strikeforce events’ ratings, however.

For a change during the Saturday encounter, 33-year-old Fedor took two rounds before landing severe uppercuts that proved fatal and his 28-year-old opponent Brett Rogers ended up with a technical knockout. Prior to this, the Russian thriller Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko had successfully been able to dispatch the opponents back in just one round in last five fights.

According to the Associated Press though the Strikeforce M-1 Global heavyweight bout was over for Brett Rogers shortly but, one thing was pretty evident; Emelianenko didn’t have a cake piece. While talking to reporters in a subsequent interview, Emelianenko said that if Brett wished, there would be a rematch.
