The inevitable has happened and the latest info about Haiti earthquake is not encouraging at all. Death of thousands of Haiti inhabitants has been confirmed since the streets are piled up with dead bodies. Many are feared to be buried alive underneath what were their homes before Wednesday.

Plenty of shocking post-earthquake pictures from the Haiti Island have been released and each of them has a sad story of its own. Various information centers are trying their level best to give the latest updates yet thousands of American citizens are still unaware about the fate of their countless relatives that had gone on to either live there on the island or were on a trip.

The whole island is presenting a view of total wreckage since the hand of nature just wiped thousands of houses and other buildings off the scene. Hospitals, schools, shops and even roads seem to have been transformed into huge piles of debris and rubble and the whole island seems to have gone quiet after the roaring destruction caused by the powerful jolts.

The current situation forced the President of Haity René Préval to appeal the whole world to come forward with whatever help possible. Haiti falls in the category of world’s few poorest countries therefore it wouldn’t be possible for the island to come back to their own ever without the outside help.

It was really heartbreaking to watch the poor people of Haiti to remove the rubbles in a hope to find any of their family member(s) buried under while all the equipment they had; were their bare hands. One of the International Crisis Group aid workers Robertson described the aforementioned situation in a very sad manner.

Many of the prisoners reportedly managed to escape since the main prison building also crumbled down though; many of them that couldn’t react in time are also feared dead. All the phone lines in most of the areas still remain shut down thus making the situation all the more difficult for the far off people to reach their relatives.
