Hans Reiser and Nina Reiser case covered on TV. A former American computer programmer, Hans Reiser has been facing 15 years to life imprisonment charges on committing the murder of his own wife Nina Reiser.
Hans Reiser was originally charged with first-degree murder but was reduced to second-degree murder by plea agreement, and arrived for the first time at ‘San Quentin State Prison’ on September 5, 2008. On October 30, 2008, Hans Reiser appealed to reduce second-degree murder conviction, but was denied on November 13, 2008 by the judge Larry Goodman.
The doctor and mother of two, 31-year-old Nina Reiser went missing in September 2006 during the period when the couple was in the midst of a nasty divorce. When Hans Reiser was asked in an pretrial jailhouse interview, “What he thinks, if Nina Reiser is alive today?”. He replied, “I think I am a person who know nothing.”
