According to the details, hundreds of Michigan residents approached police and complained about the message and its sender; a lady with a face hidden under a scarf warning all with her claims that she’s got countless men infected with HIV, the main cause of AIDS. This prompted to a search for the culprit and what police concluded was; an attempt of promoting a personal web site on part of Fame.

Though Jackie Braxton denied her own claims of having AIDS, she was made a guest at the health department of Michigan City whereby she had to undergo tests for the essential ‘verifications.’ Not a bad idea to market one’s own web site! However, Braxton further added what she wanted from the video message wasn’t publicity alone; “I wished to raise some awareness about a cruel disease too” said Braxton later.
