Jim Carrey’s daughter Jane Erin Carrey has made him a grandfather. 22-year-old Jane Erin Carrey whom Jim Carrey fathered with Melissa Womer the first wife of 48-year-old comedian, had her first baby with Alex Santana of Blood Money musical band.
It must be an extremely happy moment for rocker Alex Santana recognized as ‘Nitro’ his stage identity, to have his first kid and become a father but the Canadian-American actor James Eugene “Jim” Carrey was also overjoyed; after all he had become grandfather. The baby boy born on February 27, 2010 and it was Jim Carrey that released the news in the first place through his Twitters.
What he tweeted was “My 7 lbs and 11 oz grandson Jackson Riley Santana has born today and that he just looks like California dynamite.” Millions of Jim’s fans are looking for the photos of his grandson that has made the actor feel greatly happy and excited. Jane Erin Carrey that became mother over the weekend was born to the Jim Carrey and Melissa in the year 1987, on 6th September and her mother was a known waitress on Comedy Store.
Their marriage took place on 28 March, 1987 but when Jim was through with Melissa in 1994 following a divorce settlement in later part of year 1995, he was linked to Lauren Holly and dated his co-star from ‘Dumb and Dumber’ for quite few months. Lauren and Jim married in 1996 but within a year’s time, this marriage also failed.
Jane Erin Carrey stayed her father throughout and witnessed her father dating Renne Zellweger too. His engagement and the relationship with the actress also didn’t last long and finally in December 2008, the news broke that their engagement was over. Jim didn’t stop here and chanced his luck with Anine Bing an aspiring model. This relationship was followed by yet another one and this time it was Jenny McCarthy he dated.
However, McCarthy that believes marriage is just a ‘piece of paper,’ has stayed in since 2005 and they’re still together. The news of their moving in had arrived through McCarthy on 2 April, 2008 during ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
