22-year-old Kristina Smaby, a Miss Madison Capitol City has been crowned as new Miss Wisconsin on Saturday night at Oshkosh West High School’s Civic Auditorium. It happened 3rd time so as a Miss Madison became Miss Wisconsin since 2003.

The event was a Miss Wisconsin Scholarship pageant of the year 2009, where ‘Kristina Smaby’ earned the crown against ‘Miss Racine Sha-Nita Rhea.’ ‘Miss Kenosha Vanessa Morrone’ was the 2nd runner up, while ‘Miss Milwaukee Sara Thorne’ was the 3rd runner up and ‘Miss Fox River Valley Caitlin Smulski’ was the 4th runner up.

More information about ‘Kristina Smaby’ is that she attends Viterbo University, and is a 2009 business graduate. She is looking forward to manage an inter-generational program for ‘young children,’ ‘students from the high school,’ ‘nursing home residents’ and ‘older adults.’

‘Kristina Smaby’ will participate in “2010 Miss America pageant” in January in Las Vegas.
