24-years-old designer, Malvin Vien eliminated from ‘Project Runway’ last night. Malvin Vien produced a pregnancy ‘ChicLook’ for Rebecca Romijn at the Season 6 Episode 2 August 27.

A chicken-egg like look of a dress, designed by Malvin Vien who graduated from the University of Redlands and has a degree in social medicine and creative solipsism. He was among the designers for the show like:

Mitchell Hall, Ari Fish, Nicolas Putvinski, Louise Black, Shirin Askari, Ra’mon-Lawrence Coleman, Christopher Straub, Gordana Gehlhausen Bottom Row: Irina Shabayeva, Johnny Sakalis, Qristyl Frazier, Logan Neitzel, Althea Harper, Carol Hannah Whitfield, Epperson.

As per Heidi’s: Malvin’s outfit was bizarre and not flattering whereas Mitchell’s was unacceptable due to sloppy presentation. Rebecca Romijn the judge of the show for last night, and the challenge for the designers was to create an outfit for her pregnant tummy with twins. She had to put it on for outer events or meetings.

Tim Gunn had the view about Malvin’s outfit that it was ‘going in to the costume genre.’ Malvin was among the designers who were left to argue the judges. Louise, Mitchell, Althea, Shirin and Ra’mon were also not ‘safe’ like Mlvin.

Ra’mon’s dress was rejected for not covering baby bump fully, Louise’s had nice look, and Althea’s pretty multipurpose. Shirin’s attempt was considered impressive. But Malvi’s efforts proved lacking to impress the judges and the sling look of the dress disappointed the judges.

In the end it was Shirin who won the show considered elegant wearable and beautiful execution on the whole.
