Mexico vs North Korea

According to the results of Mexico vs North Korea game a friendly international match, the Mexicans were victorious by 2 goals to 1 on Wednesday March 17, 2010. 21-year-old Javier Hernandez produced a beauty while in the 69th minute and turned the tables in favor of Mexico.

Earlier it was the veteran 36-year-old Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo that provided the Mexico with 1-0 lead over the rival North Korean squad but that goal too arrived in the 51st minute of the game. However, the goal he produced was a stunning one since it was a 20-meter free kick that landed right in the goal post just perfectly.

It was the time for the North Korea to revert back when in the 57th minute of the friendly encounter, 23-year-old Choe Kum Chol of the DPR Korean football team managed to beat Guillermo Ochoa the Mexican goaltender. The equalizer resulted off an astonishingly poor blocking effort by Ochoa since it was a left-footed and rather bouncing hit.

However, the match was tied with 1-1 and remained so until the 21-year-old Javier Hernandez that represents Guadalajara Chivas, did the same what he did against New Zealand in a recent game; he scored the final goal and the Team Mexico was home, victorious again. Hernandez is making his mark and leaving a good impression on the coaches with his each appearance in the friendly encounters lately.

This was third consecutive victory for Mexico this year in an international friendly game since they were victorious against Bolivia and New Zealand by 5-0 and 2-0 respectively. There is an extensive schedule of friendly encounters ahead of Mexico and they meet Iceland now, their next opponents while at Charlotte, North Carolina and the same is scheduled for 24 March, 2010.
