An announcement by Dave St. Peter the Minnesota Twins President revealed on March 12, 2010 that the new ball park ‘Target Field,’ would be hosting the championship baseball games of the state’s high school. The new venue would be available for the above noted games this summer, further informed the President.
During the media announcement on Friday Dave Peter looked pretty excited and further expressed the hopes that Minnesota Twins would love to keep their commitments with regards to hosting the league games and the organizers are working on their plan successfully.
The new ball park has been made operational very recently and despite the rumors that the Minnesota Twins might be suffering with some financial issues, the organizers have really done an excellent job by erecting the beautiful structure of Target Field with extremely lush green fields inviting the players to enjoy their game and amuse the fans at the same time.
It was speculated over the past few months by many that the financial constraints faced by the Minnesota Twins alongside the relevantly small market budget as well as low payroll size; the project would never be turning into reality. However, not only the new venue is ready for the offerings but according to the team officials; the first college baseball game has already been scheduled for the upcoming summer season.
This would be followed by yet another major event taking place on the same ground and on 19 June this year, the first baseball championship of the state would be held at the Target Field. The State High School even announced that the ratio for the entry tickets would be $7 for the students whereas the adults would be charged $10 for the same.
It has also been learned that the tickets would be available at the Target Field office and their sale would commence on the match day.
