Fox News tells three of the Navy SEALs face court martial. The members of Navy SEALs team have been charged with assault and abuse on a prisoner. They allegedly assaulted Ahmed Hashim Abed, the mastermind of 2004 Fallujah – Iraq massacre.
Earlier in the month of September this year, one of the FBI’s 22 Most Wanted Terrorists, Ahmed Hashim Abed, military code name “Objective Amber,” was captured by a team of Navy SEAls. He was held in the custody of SEAl prior to being handed over to the Iraqi authorities.
Why he was wanted by the FBI so desperately, because Abed was the man that allegedly organized the whole plan that resulted in the brutal death of four of the Blackwater agents. The U.S. Military had given the task of capturing him alive to the SEALs and finally their efforts proved worth it. While busy in transporting supplies for a company engaged in catering, the Blackwater Security agents were attacked and waylaid by Abed and his allies.
Later Abed and his men allegedly burned the bodies of the dead soldiers and the same were dragged in the streets of Fallujah city prior to hanging them from the Euphrates River Bridge. Subsequently, Abed was captured and while in the custody of SEALs, he reportedly alleged that he was not only abused but was also punched in the face.
SO-2 Petty Officer Second Class Matthew McCabe is reported set to face charges of assault for punching Abed in the face, Dereliction of Duty over failing to safeguard the prisoner and making a false statement. Whereas SO-2 Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe and SO-1 Petty Officer Julio Huertas face Dereliction of Duty as well as making false statement.
