Nichole Camille Escovedo Richie was named ‘Nicole Camilla Escovedo’ by her parents at birth. She was born on September 21, 1981 in Berkeley (California). Singer Lionel Richie and Brenda adopted Nicole from her ‘biological parents’ at a very young age. At moment she is the mother of a lovely baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Richie Madden whereas the couple is expecting another baby pretty soon. In july 2007, Nicole faced some 82 hours’ jail sentence against the charges of ‘drug use’ when she admitted taking Vicodin and Marijuana.

Nicole Richie has been dating famous DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) for around two years (2003-05) and remained engaged for nine months. Brody Jenner of “The Hills” is also included in her boyfriends’ list. Finally Joel Madden coupled with her and is there till date.

Joel Reuben Madden was born March 11, 1979 in Waldorf, Maryland. He and Benji Madden are identical twins. Benji is a guitarist and Joel the vocalist for ‘GooD Charlotte.’ Joel too has been dating to a teenager Hilary Duff (16) around November 2006 and kept enjoying each other’s company for quite two and a half years before they broke up.

In November 2007, Richie and Jole laid stone of “The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation” for the purpose of charity. They have also helped get aid for Myanmar-cyclone victims.
