The one-year-long marriage of Cuban Ojani Noa and Jennifer Lopez was over in 1998. The lawyers of Jennifer Lopez through a fresh give-up epistle are trying to remind Ojani Noa to abandon the idea of filming “How I Married Jennifer Lopes: The J-lo and Ojani Noa Story.”

It seems that marrying to 35-year-old Cuban chef Ojani Noa and honoring him to be her first husband, was a mistake on part of 40-year-old American actress Jennifer Lynn Lopez. The couple remained married for hardly one year (February 22, 1997 to January 1998) but the then waiter at Miami restaurant, Noa still won her heart and Lopez hired him as Pasadena restaurant Madre’s manager.

Noa who was employed in April 2002 but got fired in October 2002, sued Jennifer Lopez blaming her for the termination. A confidentiality agreement thus took place between the tow but in 2006 Lopez took an action well in time and restricted Noa from publishing a Tell-All book about their personal life and marriage.

Lopez succeeded to obtain a court order to permanently forbid Noa form any of such acts ‘criticizing, denigrating, casting or disparaging’ his ex-wife. Thus Noa was forced to abandon the publishing of the book and all the relevant material was also handed over to Lopez’s lawyers. Lopez won compensation of $545,000 too.

Ojani Noa is in action again and this time he seems determined to not only complete his project ‘How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-lo and Ojani Noa Story’ a 2010 movie, but also to just ignore the attorneys who’re trying to remind him that he’s still bound to abide by the conditions of legal bond of 2007.

According to Noa and Ed Meyer his production manager, Joe Estevez has already been hired as the director and the casting and other smaller issues are also being addressed on priority basis, as they didn’t pay any attention to fresh cease-epistle. ‘The filming will be carried out as per plan’ says Meyer.
