Follow us on TwitterA 33-year-old mother, Otty Sanchez has been charged with capital murder of her 3 1/2-week-old son, Scott Wesley Buchholtz-Sanchez. Otty Sanchez is from San Antonio, Texas who killed her newborn baby on Sunday, July 26, 2009.
Police reported on Monday, Otty Sanchez dismembered her baby with a knife and two swords. Then, she ate the body parts of the baby (the brain as well), and stabbed herself in a torso.
Otty Sanchez replied after the inquiry, “The devil told her to do it.” And that, “She was hearing voices.” She was hospitalized after the charges, and was kept on $1 million bail.
San Antonio Police Chief, ‘William McManus’ told that the mother killed her baby early Sunday morning just after the father of the baby went out of the house. The sister of Otty Sanchez and sister’s two children (5 and 7-year-old) were also present in the house at the time she attacked her own baby. None of them were harmed except her cute baby who was horribly murdered.
On Monday, the ant of Otty Sanchez, Gloria Sanchez told ‘The Associated Press’, “The mother was out of mind at the time she committed the murder, in fact she didn’t wanted to do that.”
William McManus later confirmed that Otty Sanchez surely ate the body parts of the child including brain. He said, “Otty Sanchez also decapitated the baby, tore off the baby’s face, then chewed off almost three toes of the baby and then stabbed herself.”
Police arrived at the house around 5 A.M. and found Otty Sanchez screaming “I killed my baby!!!!!!!!!!”, said William McManus. The body of the son was found in the bedroom with missing parts.
Investigators are exploring the records of mental health history of Otty Sanchez to conclude if she was really out of mind, and committed the murder of her son during that condition, said William McManus.
