On 23rd November 2009, famous American TV chef 62 years old owner of The Lady and Sons restaurant, 2007 award winner, having Southern style of cooking, writer of cooking books, Paula Deen also a celebrity of APFN hit a soaring ham on her face when she was distributing food to the homeless and hungry people during a charity show here at Atlanta.

Eight pounds ham turned her smiling face to a hurting one. That was in fact a smashing blow on her face especially on her nose leaving an unforgettable pain. She badly suffers pain on her nose, one of the workers, a Negro suddenly pick her in his arms, that’s the good self of the chef that she became relaxed after being hit accidentally. She came back in the laughing mood saying, “I thought it has broken my lip, Thank God it did not happen.”

It is reported that she was being hit accidentally but not intentionally. It happened when she was loading off hams suddenly a ham hit her nose; she didn’t blame or claim to any one. It has also been come in the media observation that she had contributed twenty five thousands of food to the needy people of Georgia.

The American chef is an active person for helping the poor and starving people. Her participation is really considerable in this regard. She is a professional cook having non materialistic approach to the society. People of USA call her as a “Kind Chef.”
