Animal Planet aired “Pit Bulls and Parolees” premieres during their Friday night transmission at 10. The debut show “Pit Bulls and Parolees” is about 49-year-old Tia Maria Torres and country’s largest pit bull rescue center Tia owns. The Animal Planet described her as fiery and fearless rescuer.

There are many pit bull rescue centers all over the United States but the largest among them is owned by Tia Maria Torres in the Canyon vicinity. The Villalobos Rescue Centre covers as many as seventeen acres of craggy landscape and Tia Maria lives there with her second husband Aren Marcus Jackson and four lovely kids.

To run the ‘operation’ Tia Maria has acquired the services of 6 parolees who assist the volunteers (204 numbers) to look after 225 pit bulls alongside 19 cats and 2 numbers French bulldogs. Tia never would have expected her project to be a success while she started it fourteen years ago.

The Animal Planet has really helped Tia Maria overcome the foremost problem she was encountering over the past few years. The reality television through its release of ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ will help Maria meet the overheads in terms of tons of dog food required each week and various miscellaneous monthly bills amounting to thousands of bucks alongside smaller expenses.

Coincidently, one of the presenters of ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ show used to be Tia Maria’s pupil sometimes back; Michael “MikeyD” Dinco the producer attended some classes on the subject of ‘pit bull’ in the past by her. There had already been a program aired about the pit bulls that was presented by Vick an NFL quarterback that focused some painful facts of pit bulls’ life that how they are treated extremely rough and mercilessly at the hands of their owners.
