Rancho Palos Verdes fire has completely engulfed at least 6 houses. The Rancho Palos Verdes fire is among the two most active wildfires out of 4 blazes spreading out in Los Angeles and Riverside counties simultaneously.
There are reports that more than 250 firefighters are fighting the flames of 8:00 p.m. that has gone more and more threatening for several nearby structures whereas 6 houses have already lost their existence. Although the helicopters are being used to drop water from the air and plenty of men are busy at the ground, yet the fire is still burning.
Still there is no word from the authorities as to what would be the prime cause of fire nor have the causalities or injuries been reported yet. The only known factor about the fire is that it spread in hardly 30 to 35 minutes. It is feared that the hungry fire has already eaten up 75 or more acres of gross and land as per Los Angeles County Fire Official and the fire is still hoped to increase instead.
The most under threat areas are Ocean Trails Drive, Palos Verdes Drive and the Trump National Golf Club as short while ago, a temporary Command Centre to monitor the situation and gather latest information built up there, was threatened of increasing fire and removed.
According to the situation, an Evacuation Centre at Verdes Peninsula High School (Hawthorne and Silver Spur) has been established. Captain Mike Brown and Captain Sam Padilla of the Los Angeles County Fire Department informed that evacuation orders for Portuguese Bend, Amber Sky and Crest Road have been issued in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Being a very dry area, the winds play a very important role there but luckily at moment they are moving towards east thus, not dangerous for the dry vegetation. So far approximately 2000 to 3000 people have been safely evacuated.
