Raymond Lee Oyler

38-year-old Raymond Lee Oyler has been sentenced to death on June 5, 2009. He was convicted of arson murders of five firefighters from United States in October 2006. The five firefighters died due to his fire setting were 44-year-old ‘Mark Loutzenhiser,’ 27-year-old ‘Jason McKay,’ 27-year-old ‘Jess McLean,’ 20-year-old ‘Daniel Hoover-Najera’ and 23-year-old ‘Pablo Cerda.’

Raymond Lee Oyler was basically an auto mechanic who was born July 25, 1970 in Beaumont, California. He was suspected to be involved in setting the ‘Old Fire’ in the year 2003, which was also announced officially on November 11, 2006.

Raymond Lee Oyler was arrested by the officials of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department on October 31, 2006, because he was involved in setting two wildfires including ‘Esperanza Fire’ which destroyed 34 homes and 20 outbuildings and caused death of five firefighters. He was charged of five first-degree murders after a hearing held in the court of Riverside County on March 19, 2007.
