Robert Hawkins, a former math teacher at Council Rock South arrested! Robert Hawkins is charged with illicit relationship with a 17-year-old female student, supply of alcohol and marijuana to her, corruption of minors and child endangerment.

On August 25 2009, the arrest of Mr. Robert Hawkins a former math teacher, by Bucks County District Attorney’s Office along with Northampton Township Police, was made on the alleged charges like inappropriate sexual relationship with female student along with supplying her with alcohol and marijuana and the criminal offenses of minors’ corruption and child endangerment. Data comprising of e-mails and thousands of messages between Hawkins and his allies, few other teachers of the campus, is good enough prove the ‘gang’ guilty.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education’s database confirms Hawkins’ employment with Council Rock for over 11 years. There is a also a letter from Mark Klein, the Superintendent of Schools, Rock South on the website that has highlighted the resignation of one teacher who was aware of the relation but never came up to report the incident to the school authorities. The resignation was accepted. Besides, two more teachers are reported to have been suspended on the similar charges, for the time being though. Being the Superintendent Schools, Mr. Klein is very much concerned about the integrity and the professional conduct of school staff therefore, seems determined to do whatever the situation may demand.

The ‘Termination Action’ regarding Robert Hawkins as a Math Teacher has already been made effective immediately following the incident news. The number of Staff at Rock South is reported to be over 1400 thus, Mr. Klein’s action against the alleged teacher is, matter of fact, an effort to save the overall image of the whole staff as well as to depict him and the school authorities fully cooperative with the police or media.

According to Michelle Henry the District Attorney, Robert Hawkins was arraigned before Mr. Donald Nasshorn, the District Justice and that is held on a bail of $500,000.
