28-year-old husband Ryan Holness has been charged for the murder of his own wife Serika Dunkley Holness. Initially, Ryan Holness claimed that a carjacker killed his wife, but after investigation, he was charged for her murder on Friday.
According to Maryland police, investigators have clarified that she was killed by a masked assailant who forced the couple to drive towards Maryland from a gas station located in the New Jersey.
A Maryland police spokesman ‘Greg Shipley’ has told, “There are many questions remaining unsolved and the reason behind her death is not certain.”
However, Ryan Holness told the investigators that he and his wife were returning from Brooklyn after visiting the relatives and were stopped in a gas station in New Jersey. Meanwhile, an assailant appeared there having a gun and a knife who ordered them to move towards their second home in Maryland.
Ryan Holness also claimed that the attacker stopped them along country road, bounded his hands and feet after dragging him out of the car and stabbed his wife to death.
After the investigation, Ryan Holness who was trying to free himself of the murder charge, was charged first-degree as well as second-degree murder of his wife on Friday night.
