In a new line of transport equipment, Segway has come out with a machine called the Segway x2. The vehicle is a two-wheeled Personal Transporter powered by a battery. The total range in distance of the Segway x2 comes to twelve miles or nineteen kilometers. The transporter can go up to a maximum speed of twenty kilometers per hour and weighs a total of fifty-four point four kilograms.

All the user has to do to control the speed of the self balancing transporter is to lean forward or backwards, the angle of the tilt then dictates the speed to the Segway x2. It is powered by lithium ion-batteries produced by Saphion.

Segway x2’s treaded tires are made to handle a smooth ride on mostly all terrains. Segway x2’s main feature lies in its ability to take users to areas that other vehicles cannot access such as shopping malls and office buildings.

Segway was introduced as the first of its kind in the self balancing factor. Unlike other machines which can get a little hard to control, the Segway x2 is as user friendly as such a vehicle could get. Depending on the load on the vehicle, it may travel up to as much as twenty four miles. That may sound like a short distance but it would take an average person roughly six hours to walk that much if he was to walk at a speed of four miles an hour.

The body comes in a sleek body and is a sight to be proud of for the producers. while providing style it also provides a higher ground clearance which means more flexibility with rougher terrain.
