Serena has always been muscular, even as a little girl. What is unique about her body though is that she has such a feminine shape with it – very curvy, yet muscular. A very interesting and sexy combination. She has always been the fiery one of the two. She has her mom’s looks but her daddy’s temperment. Richard Williams made note of her fiesty spirit early in her career. He once said she would surpass her older sister in tennis because she is ‘meaner’. She may need to invest in ways to better control her anger even in cases where a seemingly gentile, older woman in Asian ‘I wouldn’t hurt a fly’ wrapping makes a possibly deliberate incorrect call at a crucial, stressful moment.

If you take the time to look at the replays, she MOST DEFINITELY foot faulted. It’s not even close. About half of her foot is on the line. If it wasn’t a foot fault, everyone would be screaming the race card and how the line judge made the biggest bad call in the history of tennis.

I think Serena to act that way actually suggests to me that she knew it was not a foot fault. To make a call like that is unforgiveable, to make that call at such an important point suggests to me one thing – the line judge was wanting to be seen (or she was cheating). I quote the late great William Gibert Grace “they haven’t come to see you umpiring, they’ve come to see me bat”. Somewhere the authorities have lost some focus from the sport. If they expect the players not to quibble, they have to raise the standards of the officials. The US open is far too casual in this respect. It must also be pointed out that being slaves to the TV companies is also not helping the game. poor Nadal – look at his schedule, whilst all the while federer was resting up!

IT’S SAD THAT WHAT AN ATHLETE WORKS SO HARD TO ACCOMPLISH CAN BE TAKEN AWAY, BY PEOPLE THAT SHOULD NOT EVEN BE INVOLVED IN SPORTS. Roid Rage! Ster-ena is so obviously on steroids, and no one calls her on it? Why not? I have a few guesses. She is a cheater and a whiner. Ever notice that every time she loses she says she didn’t play well, she had a bad day, etc etc. You’ll never hear that cheating crybaby say “I played my best and my opponent played better.”

One day we will be Williams-free in tennis, and that day cannot come too soon.

It was verified that the lineman was indeed wrong about the foot fault. Serena had every right to be angry. The problem is that she let the anger get out of control and so she was indeed disrespectful. I know that all of us at one time or another have done the same thing! I am not justifying her actions because she was indeed wrong and should’ve penalized BUT she is still a beautiful person inside and out and I have and still admire her. She just made a mistake.
