Shaniya Davis that went missing on Tuesday has not been found yet. The police have, however, arrested the mother of Shaniya Davis. According to the police Antoinette Nicole Davis is involved in child abuse as well as prostitution and human trafficking.
Although she has not been found as yet, the investigations in a mysterious disappearance of a 5-year-old girl Shaniya Davis since Tuesday, have taken another twist. According to the law enforcement officials, missing girl’s mother Antoinette Nicole Davis is also under arrest. She’s allegedly involved in child abuse and human trafficking alongside the charges of prostitution she’s been booked for.
On Saturday morning, the Fayetteville police arrested Antoinette Nicole Davis on multiple accounts such as human trafficking, child abuse, prostitution, filing a false police report, delaying and obstructing an officer during arrest process. North Carolina police strongly believe that the mother is not only directly involved in her own daughter’s disappearance but she has put Shaniya into sexual servitude and prostitution, forcefully and against her will.
As per the ‘Fayetteville Observer’ the arrest documents reveal that Nicole Davis deliberately provided her daughter with an objective of sexual servitude and that she allowed an act of prostitution, quite intentionally. However, her direct involvement in hasty desertion of the child has not been confirmed by the police yet.
Another person has also been booked by the police in the same case. Mario Andrette McNeil was booked on account of first degree abduction upon a tip that the girl was seen or found with him in some hotel.
The rescuers are still searching for Shaniya that went missing from her home, 1116-A Sleepy Hollow Drive, on Tuesday morning, between the areas of Sanford and Spring Lake. Nicole had stated to the police that she last saw Shaniya when she put her on a couch at home.
