Skyline College Shooting

Skyline College shooting left one 18-year-old student injured! A shooting happened at Skyline College in San Bruno, California on Wednesday around 1 p.m., while police were searching for three suspects who left the campus right after the shooting.

According to police Cmdr. Marc Catalano, “Two teenagers groups began arguing that left the situation into shooting at Skyline Community College’s parking lot.” Marc Catalano added, “Three suspects who left the shooting incident and ran in a “fluorescent” Ford Escort, have not been caught yet.”

Police believe that the student who was injured in shooting, was the only target of shooting. The identity of the student who was seriously injured has not been released yet, however, it has been reported that he was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

According to the reports, the student who was wounded ran into Learning Center of school screaming, “He had been shot.” 21-year-old student, Edward Reyes who was already present in the Learning Center, called 911 and noted that a student is bleeding as he has been shot in the buttocks.

Marc Catalano said, “Though the student was seriously injured, however, the injuries were not life-threatening. He was taken to the nearest health center, and after that to the hospital.”

Evening classes at the college were canceled, and according to most recent reports, the college is still locked down. There are almost 10,000 students learning education at Skyline Community College. College’s District director of community who has served for 32 years, Barbara Christensen said, “She can’t remember a shooting other than this one happened here on campus.”
