The victim, a cast member of the Jersey Shore “Snooki” Polizzi or Snookie, is knocked down after receiving a straight blow in the face by a man. Later she’s found laying on the club floor crying in pain with hand on the face. Then the alleged attacker was escorted in the police custody, handcuffed.
So far the identity of the attacker has not been released neither it could be confirmed what would be the motive behind the attack. The new MTV reality show is about a group of eight sizzling and hot party girls gathered to make a summer memorable.
Following MTV’s release of this teasing footage right after the episode tonight, next week they will be showing something anti-violence PSA to subside the already growing concern about Jersey Shore. There was an immediate state released by MTV that read the scene of Snookie’s being violently punched was really disturbing and that it was crime on part of the attacker. They promised to run the domestic violence PSA as mentioned above, after the episodes will be aired. MTV authenticated that the attacker has already been arrested and under investigation.
This also involved Sheryl Cates that on behalf of the ‘National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline,’ praised and thanked the MTV for their efforts.
