It seems like when it rains it pours when you hear reports confirming a second snow storm hitting New York. The city which has just recently recuperated from a massive snow storm earlier will have to go through another day of turbulent weather. In anticipation of this snow storm measures had already been taken. Office staff of the Federal Government and school children were advised to remain within their residential premises.

Its going to be a heavy fall for most of the northeastern coastline with New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Tennessee, Ohio, Philadelphia and Southern New England next in line.

The greatest amount of snow fall is predicted to be concentrated between Baltimore and New York city. Weather reports fear amounts greater than twenty inches may fall. Just recently Washington faced a similar snow storm leaving it devastated with twenty-eight inches of snow.

According to the National Weather Service the approaching snow storm has been rated a blizzard level storm indicating extreme hazardous conditions. The definition of blizzard level, as per official rules is, a state of snow fall during winds higher than thirty-five miles an hour. In such extreme conditions the range of sight is reduced to four to five hundred meters. The expected snow storm in New York is estimated to last for a duration of three hours.

To all of you reading this on the northeastern coastline, stay inside, stay warm, stock up if you can and for everyone’s sake, buy a lot of shovels.
