Steorn

Steorn Ltd, a private technology development Irish company is all set to promote their new device online. “e-Orbo” is an electromagnetic device with a self-looped motor alongside a D-cell battery. The demo is a part of Steorn’s plan to launch the technology commercially this year.

The live stream of this particular event is now available for the viewers on the company website through a webcam that will cover the whole activity for two specific periods. The live run that has already been made available from today Dec. 15 will continue till Dec. 23, 2009. The second phase will commence from January 5 to January 31, 2010.

The general public is also invited to Dublin at the Waterways Visitor Centre for the live demonstration for which, the admission is free and open to all. For the purpose of its advertisement on television, the company also acquired rights on Al Jazeera television alongside a company-video to provide more in-depth analytical details and the same is also available on the company website.

The electromagnetic version of the system Steorn is demonstrating live is all about the usage of an interface battery that has been challenged by the scientists worldwide. Steorn, on the other hand, are determined to prove that the uninterrupted demonstration will continue to surprise the critics for not hours or days, for several weeks; the most astonishing fact would be the inexistence of any external battery to power the rig!

The demonstration is already on its way since this morning and the viewers are watching this modern age wonder with a single motor attached to its plastic stand while the device has been placed in the centre of a room. The purpose is to ensure no external wires are attached yet the battery is being recharged continually and spinning the rig.

The claims of Steorn will automatically prove true if during the demonstration, the battery replacement is not required; and they’re pretty sure it will not. Hence their success is likely to bring up a revolution.
