An onstage kiss of Toni Braxton and Prince of Virginia Trey Songz made the occasion memorable. Singer Toni Braxton and recording artist Trey Songz were locked into a kiss after singing and performing ‘Yesterday’ at 2009 Soul Train Music Awards Atlanta, November 3, 2009.
Readers must be aware that Trey Songz is the stage name of Tremaine Aldon Neverson and that he’s an American recording artist. He was accompanied by the 6 Grammy Awards winning singer 43-year-old Toni Michelle Braxton on the night of November 3, 2009 at the Soul Train Music Awards 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia.
First they impressed with their performance during the recording by signing together ‘Yesterday’ and later Braxton Songz duo delivered a long hot kiss to make the occasion memorable forever. The audience was then welcomed by Howard and Henson with the version of peaches and Herb Reunited followed by appearances by Keri Hilson, Robin Thicke, Ryan Leslie, Ludacris featuring Raheem DeVaughn.
A medley of Motown hits was also offered by Toni Braxton Trey Songz and musical tribute Kissa Motown Records and Henson as a Supreme Being, Boyz II Men, Chico DeBarge, Johnny Gill, Estelle, Vita, Mike Phillips and Melanie Fiona were among the performers.
Another event was worth watching wherein a tribute was paid to Charlie Wilson and The Gap Band with versions of their recent and past hits such as “Outstanding” desire and “For Your Love.” Later two songs “Burn Rubber” with K-Ci & Jo-Jo and Bootsy Collins and “There Goes My Baby,” were sung by Wilson onstage. There were many more smaller yet wonder performances by number of presenters to grace the occasion.
